Tony is Managing Partner and founder of Saber Growth Partners. Saber is an advisory firm that works with US and European consumer mobile focused technology businesses on developing and executing growth strategies, with deep expertise on monetisation, international expansion and strategic partnerships. Prior to Saber, he led Skype's mobile partnerships worldwide from 2007 to 2013. He was one of Skype’ earliest employees and part of the original team that saw the business scale from 10m to 300m users, through it’s private equity buyout led by Silverlake in 2009 and subsequent US$8.5bn acquisition by Microsoft.
Tony studied Law and started his career as a founding employee of an Israeli start up in mobile location based services, which was acquired by Omnisky Inc, an award winning mobile internet and email business. He lives in London, where he is married with four children and is active in the European startup ecosystem, both as an advisor and angel investor.
